GroupM – Wall Murals

Description

We had to design two wall murals to brighten up the working space at GroupM Sri Lanka.

Shelendra, our client, and his team put together a list of their favourite pop-culture characters and wanted us to incorporate them into the mural. The mural was to cover the blank wall space that had a door in the middle that led towards the rest-rooms. They also wanted to use this artwork to make sure that the members of the team remembered to close the door behind them! lol.

Blocking out the placement and colours

we initially planned the door to be a book cupboard, that could be roled into place with the help of Captain Marvel on the right.

But then our client wanted the door to have the iron throne on it. (BIG GOT fans at GroupM) And so it was!

We explored a few colour variations

AND VOILA! MURAL NO 1.

And this was MURAL NO 2.
